💕 Growing old together is such a privilege. 💕 Meet beautiful Lolly, our gorgeous Maltese Shih Tzu who has been part of the Groom-Me family for the past 9 years. 🩷 Watching our furry clients grow older is both emotional and incredibly rewarding. As dogs age, their grooming needs change, and every groom is tailored to keep them as comfortable, healthy and happy as possible. For sweet Lolly, we’ve made a few adjustments to suit her senior years: 🐾 We leave her coat a little longer and create a soft hand-scissored finish to help keep her warm, as she’s becoming much leaner with age. 👀 Her face is kept nice and short to remove tear-stained fur and help keep the eye area cleaner and more comfortable. 🦴 Because she has arthritis, we take extra care when handling and positioning her legs, allowing plenty of time so she feels safe and relaxed. 🪥 Every visit also includes her regular teeth brushing and anal gland care to help keep her feeling her very best. As you can see, Lolly is completely relaxed sitting on my lap. That trust is something we never take for granted. ❤️ Senior dogs deserve patience, kindness and experienced hands. ⭐🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK — Meet Atlas the Toy Cav ⭐🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK — Meet Atlas the Toy Cavoodle 🐾⭐ This handsome little six-month-old Toy Cavoodle has been loved by his family since he came home at just eight weeks old. 💛 Atlas was the perfect choice for his family — Dad grew up with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, while Mum always had Spoodles and, being allergic to dog fur, a low-shedding Cavoodle was the ideal combination. Originally named Robbie, his family soon realised that was also Mum’s brother’s name, so a new name was needed — and Atlas suited him perfectly! ✨ Atlas’ favourite person is his mum, his favourite snack is sweet potato, and his favourite activity is rough play and having fun. He recently visited Groom-Me by Lisa-Marie for his very first full puppy groom and was an absolute superstar.
